Digital Readers Combining Features of Traditional Printed Publications
About the project
Changan Ford is a well-known Chinese automobile joint venture manufacturer, undertaking all Ford-related Chinese business of Ford Mazda, including the development, manufacturing, sales and service of the Ford brand.
The design of Changan Ford’s corporate publication App combines the reading characteristics of traditional periodicals, starting from the user’s usage habits and Changan Ford’s product positioning, and outputs a complete set of Internet publication solutions for customers.
Ideation
We combine the characteristics of traditional books and digital magazines for application design.
We removed the tab bar to expand the viewing area and replaced it with a horizontal swipe for a smoother experience.
Color
We use Ford’s iconic blue and combine it with some light colors for users to read for a long time.
Icons
The icons are simple and linear to fit the overall visual effect.
Typography
We chose two different fonts to suit different situations.
Using a serif font makes it look elegant and textured.
