Create a new website interaction language combined with the brand’s tonality
About this project
COMINNO is a Beijing-based design studio that provides professional user research and design.
Challenge
At the very beginning of this work, all I thought about was making a unique visual effect, so I made a series of explorations on different forms of websites in my initial effect picture. I ignored the deep meaning of our studio brand.
Concept
Later I realized that every design I conceived could not combine with our studio brand.
So I found the VI of our studio and extracted some elements from it.
Sketch
I explored new ways to express the website visually and landed on three different concepts after a series of explorations.
Here are some proposals for each concept extracted from my sketches and studies.
Choose direction and iterate
I decided to move forward with the following iteration of Concept 2, which played with the idea of circle as the main visual point of the website.
